          'Baan Celadon' or 'The House of Celadon' was initiated in 1989 by the two farsighted founders, Khun Kanda Kanjanakorn and Khun Thatsanee Yaja, on a piece of land on Chiangmai - Bo sang road, which is collectively used as their home, factory, and the showroom displaying magnificent products such as tableware, decorative item, gifts and souvenirs, etc. for both local visitors and foreigners worldwide who appreciate products representing Thai culture.

          Baan Celadon is determined to carry on the traditional Thai method of Celadon production by maintaining the handmade procedures, emphasizing on the importance of painting, carving lively designs characterizing Thai arts and cultural life in order to preserve Thai traditional wisdom.

          Our logo reflects good relationships between homes and way of life, cultures and traditions of Chiangmai people, where love and care as well as happiness are prevailing owing to the nature's perfection comprising of the Four Elements ; the Earth, the Water, the Wind and the Fire; combined with the artists' and artisans' knowledge and spiritual entities transforming into the society's prosperity through their creation - the Celadon products. Relationship with the community
          "Baan Celadon" produces Celadon from natural materials. The production line consists of tableware, decorative and gift items bearing Baan Celadon brand. The products are suitably designed for both domestic's and foreigners' good taste. Apart from its uniqueness, each piece is the work of quality, workmanship, and good reputation which satisfy both domestic and international customers. All the staff are proud of their work and of the factory's products that have found their ways to go all over the world. The staff are happy with their jobs which create a better life, good families, good security and good welfare. The factory itself also has a good relationship with the community, and has become the learning center for the young generations to study a progressively flourishing business which is securely sustainable in the long run.
          Apart from providing jobs and incomes for local people, Baan Celadon also creates artists with exceptional talents. Not only their work which always impresses visitors greatly, the artists are also very impressive themselves. Most of these craftsmen did not have either much education or pass study courses of art. They are actually ordinary villagers who learned from apprenticeship until becoming highly skillful. They can make such extensive and excellent pieces of art that bring a lot of prides, prestige and fame to the factory, which Miss Thatsanee always proudly compliments them with visitors.
